We scope engagements around the decision in front of the company, not around the easiest engagement to sell. Clients should always know who is doing the work and how it will be reviewed.

RwE Growth Partners is independent. Engagements are senior-led and free of cross-sell incentives from audit, tax, brokerage, or wealth-management lines of business.

Where appropriate to the engagement, RwE prepares valuation and advisory work with reference to International Valuation Standards (IVS), applicable professional valuation standards, and the relevant financial reporting, legal, tax, and engagement-specific frameworks. RwE also recognizes the importance of the IVSC Code of Ethical Principles and Competency Framework for Valuers, including integrity, objectivity, competence, confidentiality, professional behaviour, and professional skepticism.

    Richard founded RWE Growth Partners in 2008 after fifteen years leading Evans & Evans, Inc. as Principal. He has prepared more than 2,500 valuation reports, business plans, technical assessments, and feasibility studies for private and public companies, with extensive experience providing expert reports to courts in Canada and Australia. Richard holds an MBA from the University of Portland and a Bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University; he is a Chartered Business Valuator (Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, 2001) and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (American Society of Appraisers, 2007).

RwE engagements are prepared to the professional standard appropriate to the engagement, with documented independence and internal review. The Principal holds credentials relevant to the work — CBV (Chartered Business Valuator) and ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser) — with additional designations as applicable. Where engagements involve audit, tax, legal, or securities-regulated activity, the work is coordinated with those licensed professionals.
